Do you love to grill on a hot day? What about a cold day? Any day at all? Some people just can't stay away from their barbeque grills. If you're one of them, we understand. Nothing beats the flavor of meat cooked on a grill, except, maybe meat cooked in a smoker. Learn the difference between bbq grills and smokers and the benefits of owning both.

Another advantage of owning a barbeque smoker is it's kind of like the difference between frying something on the stove vs. a slow cooker slow cooker mac and cheese with chicken. You need to keep a constant eye on barbeque grills but with a smoker, you can set it up and walk away knowing your food will cook to perfect doneness in the span of a few hours.

I can't say that quite juicy smoked paprika dusted pork tenderloin or the chimichurri marinated hanger steak are flawed. It's just that we had sensationally feisty hanger steak the night before at Morandi and the macaroni cheese for a crowd makes this version seem quite ordinary. Of course, I'm not surprised that a chef come of age in Flay's aura overdoes on sweetness. And after all, this is Apiary. Personally, I hate honey as well as fruit vinegars in my vinaigrette. And I'm not going to be happy with sweet'n'sour fruit sauce tainting my spice crusted lamb. A side of spicy eggplant comes cold. That's a surprise.

Cooking with a crock pot is one of the easiest ways to cooks foods. For most recipes all you have to do is simply put the ingredients into the slow cooker and set the temperature on 'low'. Let it cook for 8 hours - the time you're usually at work - and then when you get home it's done. For some recipes you may have to put in an extra ingredient or two and let it cook for an additional 30-minutes or so after you get home. But when you compare that to the expense of eating out it's a no-brainer. Not to mention the health side of things.

We had never ate at the Hollywood and Vine before and did a bit of research before we left. It was an all you can eat buffet with a variety of food from chicken nuggets to steak and salmon. We were excited to go and even though the price seemed a bit high for lunch, around $25.00 a person, we couldn't wait to have our son meet the characters.

Yes, it was the 80's. We all wore great vintage clothing bought at quirky shops that bought the clothing as rag lots. We'd go to the attic and climb in the great wooden crates pulling out the most amazing 1940's bias dresses and great tuxedo jackets. Those of us that could wield a simple needle made out like bandits, and our looks could not be duplicated. I was dumbfounded when some of my peers would not buy a gorgeous dress because it was too long.

I hope these ideas have been helpful. Remember that you will see better results if you stay active. If your weight loss stalls or plateaus, increase your activity. Good luck on your weight loss journey!
