Oscar's 2012: Why Should "The Help" Win Best Picture?

Well, it's another movie about black subservience, and it goes hand in hand with Denzel and Halle "getting" those two awards for two of the most violent movies they ever made.

Black folk could not win an Academy or an Oscar for the movies that depict us as normal folk, just as servants and violence and drugs and %#&@$!dom and the usual two-bit dime a dozen gang far.

"The Help" is just some more crap about a white female reminiscing on some "bluebird" theories about her relationship with black women, who actually doesn't see or hear how bad that black woman would like to stick her sniveling head in the toilet after she gets off work.

There's not a black woman who was a maid who will attest to that story, but that is the viewpoint from which the author would see it.

If we're not serving them or living up to their expectations as drug dealers, %#&@$!s and corrupt criminals, we don't need an award for it. Another Academic Day in Hollywood.
