Utilizing less intrusive ways to generate revenue has always been the smart choice. Less pop-ups will be a welcomed relief to the general BP population.

I may have to visit this site one day without a condom, and get a first hand experience of what it's like to be bombarded with all these pop-ups I hear members complaining about...Psych!

Anyway, good work bp... keep it clever, keep it fair, and keep it prosperous!

ummmmm i haven't seen the improvement on the pop-up ads yet..... they are still annoying as hell... and also you guys need to get to fixing the time stamp on the sending and receiving of notes and "last login" times of users.. its jacked....

When will BLACKPLANET develop an application that will download IM services to blackberry phones. Such as is done with Yahoo IM's. I would like to be able to talk with my friends without having to get on the computer opening-up the whole site just to use my IM; this social network has been in busines for way-too-long to not have IM links for smartphones. How can this social network represent the Afro-Nation if it does not steadily keep-up with the times as does the othe social feeds that have not even been in development as long as BLACKPLANET.COM. Will the advocate please urge the develpers and IT of this social network to
update the program. I want to access the BLACKPLANET IM just as I would my Yahoo or Facebook on my Blackberry!!!!!!
