I don't define legend according to how much work an artist(s) has done. A single piece of work this is REMEMBERED, to me, can define an artist, or his/her work, as legendary. Rob Base, where is he? However, old and young alike remember "It takes two". LL Cool J, still poppin', old and young alike still remember "I Need Love". A key word(s) in a definition are what gives legends its true meaning. I believe that key work is REMEMBRANCE. After years, decades, do you still remember? Thank you.

and also being a good role model for the kids so that may say i want to be successful like that person im speaking from experience im a proud father of two and a singer/ songwriter/ musician i play 8 different instr. and a college student trying to lay the foundation for my kids and family and do it for the love of music.
being humble, classic records , versatility, hit records, and a great personality, thats whats makes a legend, and just being a people person and kicking out those hits.

What makes an artist a legend is the quality of the music. It doesn't necessarily depend on record sales. It mostly depends on the depth of the lyrics and whether or not the music has a soul. The music should tell a story on it's own and if you add lyrics with substance and are consistent, then you are on your way!

What makes a musician - a legend?? a musician legend is someone who makes music that everyone can feel in their heart as well as their mind. Someone who tops the charts everytime their album comes out. Someone who's never afraid to take risks to please their fans as well as emotions to make sure the song(s) are introduced the way they want people to remember them. so they'll exactly who that hit was by and doesn't have to wonder.
