A Dazzling Character Is Introduced In Controversial E-book From Smashwords

What would you get if you blended the smooth style of detective John Shaft, the adventuring heroics of Indiana Jones, seasoned with the cool of the Fonz? Answer: Bluefield Black, the dazzling character of the Smashwords' e-book release, The Rogue Prophet. With his black leather sport coat, Flourshiem boots and the kimble in his walk Bluefield, or as he would inform you, "Just Blu, that's B-L-U, no E," is certainly stuck in the seventies appearance-wise. He faces danger head-on and is just as deadly with his belt as he is with his gun. And all this in a religious thriller. Even though, his dialogue is hilariously funny, there is a mysterious tone as to his connection with the evil bishop, Ezekiel Barnes, who is quite a character himself. In fact, the characters in The Rogue Prophet, is a very impressive ensemble. The scheming Bishop Barnes will stop at nothing in his drive to take his ministry to the next level. Along with his ghoulish partner, the deacon, they have turned The Church of Advancing Light, into an unnerving den of despair for several of it members, including a nine year old girl named Debbie.

The protagonist of the novel, Lawrence Garnier is also a vivid literary star. He's a womanizing drunk with the unwanted power of seeing the future of others. He is plagued by a family past that is truly tragic. The Rogue Prophet is full of twist, thrills, shocking revelations and is sure to leave the reader wanting more . . . and more is on the way. Just when you thought it was safe to believe.
