Good Day Mr. President,This is BEN, the author of the urban novel entitled Up The Way. I am so proud of you and the steps you've taken to elevate and introduce mankind to a new day. I'm 43 years of age, and was incarcerated when you won the election. In a dorm type setting, I still shed tears of joy not caring what someone else may have thought. During the election, your motto "Yes We Can!" changed my life. During such adversities I managed to soul search deep within my soul. I called on past heroes and today. With this inspiration, the old Negro spirit and the new, I wrote my first book and earned a book deal. It wasn't because I knew I could, due to some form of higher learning. Sir, I did it because you said I could. I've befriended you on www.mypace.com/authorben and today, I just realized you had a page on Black Planet. One day, I'd just love to see you post a message on my page and read the excerpts of my book. It's an urban novel with adult content. Thank you Mr. President! Hold your head up HIGH and keep on pushing! Don't stop now! You are here for a reason and I'm proud to be living to see and witness all you do and will do for this County. I know you must get tired and maybe a little down once in a while; well if you do remember this and repeat these words: Hello God, I called today, to talk a little while...I need a friend who'll listen to my anziety and trial...You see, I can't quite make it through a day just on my own..I need your love to guide me, so I'll never feel alone...I want to ask you please to keep, my family safe and sound.
