I am a Soul, Experimental,Hip Hop vocalist, (I play the piano, but i am no Duke Ellington...If you know who that is.. Well... Then we are in Business...LOL) So far so good..
I compose,engineer, Do a lot of production.. etc..
I love all kinds of music... From Country. to Hip -hop.. (the real kind of Hip-Hop.... )Jazz, World, Cuban,Rock,Motown..Neo-soul, Opera, and ect.... I am very eclectic.. Music is my first priority...

Let`s see......umm. well in my spare time, Love all kinds of Art.. "Art In General" . write lyrics, meditate, read... Travel,Hang with my family and friends,Go to concerts, and a few clubs Occasionally...I also enjoy golfing..although i m horrible at it.. Its relaxing, Love a good happy hour.. the beach.. Bubble baths and a nice glass of wine.. with candles (Love Love Love) I stand 5 ft 10in, (yes i am a tall girl) I weigh.....(ENOUGH) MS FABULOUS!! I am Ukrainian, Fin and half African -American.. Yes i am also a mutt aka known as a "Black Russian" ..."(GREAT DRINK BY THE WAY) I love meeting new people,seeing new faces.. I don`t discriminate... All i ask of you.. Here's My Bio.... 23 Year old Margeaux Was born and raised in Minneapolis Minnesota. Hometown of Prince,Mint Condition, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Next, the Times, Sounds Of Blackness. The Steel Family, Ann Nesby,and Johnny Lang etc.. She is going to be the next " big artist." Since the age of three, Margeaux has always enjoyed the spotlight. Margeaux would sing at the mall to anyone who would listen, and put on a little show, singing "Her favorite Jackson 5 song "Rockin Robin." Her father soon bought Margeaux a key board and Margeaux started plugging away.. Margeaux taught her self by ear. There was never anybody in the family that was musically inclined. Her parents were just a fan of Good Music. "Real Music" Margeaux shortly just fell in love with the whole "OLD SCHOOL VIBE" Margeaux's Parents listened to all the greats! Duke Ellington~ Ella F. Etta James, Ruth Brown, Miles Davis, Stevie Wonder, Sam Cooke, Ray Charles, Nat king Cole, Tony Bennet~ Frank Sinatra~ Diana Ross and The Supremes, Earth Wind and Fire. (Just to name the very few) Margeaux took Opera voice lessons at MacPhail Center For Music for five years and participated in several Honors Recitals 1999-2003. Although she was born with this natural gift. Margeaux wanted to learn about different types of music and other ways to use her voice instrument. And Opera Mos Def Helped... Graduating from North Community High School in Minneapolis, in June of 2004. Margeaux received recognition for creativity and visual performing arts award; also a certificate of achievement as an African American Achiever. Margeaux graduated "A" honor roll and participated in many of the Arts and Communications Presentations. Margeaux always sang for the graduating class commencements at the Civic Center for her high school. One month after graduating High School, Margeaux had an audition/competition not knowing the difference between the two. Margeaux read an add in the local news paper looking for "Singers" so she had made an appointment to meet with them. The talent scouts fell in love with Margeaux, and shortly after Margeaux starting working with them. The talent scouts promised her this and that, and said they knew this and that person, but of course there was always a fee, and she(I) paid it. (Well my parents did) Thousands of dollars later. Her and her family realized that this was a scam and Margeaux was sold a dream.. That money that was spent on this unfortunate scam was for Margeaux's College career. Margeaux's Parents couldn't afford this, but did it any way because they believe in her.. Even though Margeaux and her parents were scammed , that still didn't bring them down. "Now we know we can't trust everybody in this industry. It was a huge learning experience." Shortly after that incident, Margeaux told her parents that she wanted to take a year off of school to work full time and pursue her singing career.. Her parents were and (are) still behind her 100% with that. With that being said, Margeaux Started working full time as a banquet server and hostess for a hotel downtown Minneapolis. Margeaux Had everything planned out from the get go. She Planned On Working full-time for about a year and a half at the very most; and had everything set up for school. Margeaux was on her way to L.A to attend "Musicians Institute" in Holly Wood California In January 2006. But, in August of 2005. Margeaux slipped and fell on her right knee in the kitchen on wet tile flooring.. Ever since Aug 2005 Margeaux hasn't been able to work, and has been on Workers Comp Ever since. In Sept 2006 Margeaux had surgery on her patella which was supposed to work out. Sadly it didn't, it just made things worse. Margeaux just had her second surgery done May 8th 2008. Although this situation has been very frustrating and such a long process, It s also a blessing in disguise. And you know what? it sure has been.. I've met so many beautiful People.. Thank you my dear.. xxxx When i was in Vegas I got a chance to sing at the "House Of Blues" and the "Bootlegger" in Las Vegas at celebrity karaoke and Buffie Lucas (a singer for Gladys Knights traveling Gospel Choir) said "You are the female version of Luther Vandross". I have also had my (demo) played in vegas at the Pink Taco at the Hard Rock Cafe' and was recently featured on a local radio station in Minneapolis KMOJ with great responses. And lets not forget.. i was just featured (My Mixed Cd July 2008) In London UK.. On Playvybz.com Again that is every Sunday @ 2pm Central (So I m in Rotation) Like i said..
