Hello and welcome to the official Chad D. Miller for State Representative 2008 Campaign page on Black Planet! Unlike most of the other political pages on BlackPlanet, this one is not manned by campaign staffers. I personally manage this page because I feel that in order to claim to put the people first, you can't have a campaign staffer give the answers you should be giving the people. I am a 27 year old father of one. I am also a licensed active real estate agent and corrections officer. I am a veteran officer of the Marion County Sheriff's Department. A moderate conservative who believes that we need new leadership in several areas of government because the people have been ignored for far too long. During the 1992 presidental campaign, President Bill Clinton said, "It's the economy stupid". Well the economy is in trouble and you have had to have been living under a rock not to have seen it. My stance-Property Taxes

Property Taxes: As a real estate professional, I'm on the front line in the battle over property taxes. While this tax does fund various services we take for granted from law enforcement to your local school districts, I believe that this tax which has since the first re-assessment has caused a lot of middle class home-owners and even commercial and residental rental property owners extreme distress should be completely overhauled.
