Message from Barack: "How this happened"

Before his Election Night speech last night, Barack sent out this message to suppporters:


I'm about to head to Grant Park to talk to everyone gathered there, but I wanted to write to you first.

We just made history.

And I don't want you to forget how we did it.

You made history every single day during this campaign -- every day you knocked on doors, made a donation, or talked to your family, friends, and neighbors about why you believe it's time for change.

I want to thank all of you who gave your time, talent, and passion to this campaign. We have a lot of work to do to get our country back on track, and I'll be in touch soon about what comes next.

But I want to be very clear about one thing...

All of this happened because of you.

I hope that all of our black men and women stand up and vote. This is our time. I am glad that my sons can see this day. That my grandfather can see this day. And as you stand this test I plea with witnesses to this post that you receive our stregnth and allow it to aid you in the work of FOCUSING AND CHANNELLING YOUR APTITUDE AND INGENUITY INTO KEEPING YOUR PRESENCE OF MIND AND SPIRIT - MAY YOU AGAIN TRANSEND TO NAVIGATE THESE WATERS, FOCUSED AND NOURISHED BOTH PHYSICALLY, SPIRITUALLY AND MENTALLY - IN THE WAY OF THAT GREAT DOCUMENT YOU HAVE MASTERED, YOU KNOW THE ONE.

I imagine at this time that articles of the constitution regarding the balance of our government's powers be emphasized, broadcast - the choice to stand or submit be made plain to the American Citizenry and we vote for or against it in polls on the net OR use whatever the best method is to get a THE POWER OF MASS REPRESENTATION HEARD. NO LIE CAN DEFEAT THE TRUTH OF YOUR ARGUMENT, SIMPLY BECAUSE IT'S ALREADY BEEN PROVEN. I submit that this can HELP solve the problem justly, quickly and fairly.
